Fed: Labor calls for separate Budget papers on war

Labor has called for the federal government to hand down a separate war Budget to setout the cost of the war in Iraq.

Opposition treasury spokesman BOB MCMULLAN says the government should hand down a separatestatement detailing the cost of the war in 2002-03 and 2003-04 along with the regularBudget papers on May 13.

The Australian Democrats say the Budget should address basic services such as health,education, housing and welfare, and not just defence.
