The Saratoga County Arts Council is planning its annual fall international excursion to Spain and Morocco, Oct. 8-15. Travelers will fly from JFK and spend a week in the southern Spanish cities of Granada, Cordoba, Seville and surrounding areas.
Southern Spain is the home of Don Juan, Carmen, flamenco dance, enchanting gardens, sherry and tapas. Excursions will cover architecture and art from the key historical epochs - Roman, Medieval, Renaissance and beyond. An optional tour extension from Oct. 15-18 will explore the exotic Moroccan cities of Marrakesh and Casablanca which reverberate with the sounds and sense of "The Thousand and One Nights."
